Is your child ready to stay home alone? The Home Alone Safety for Kids program (for ages 9-12), is a practical home alone safety course for kids that helps children and their families prepare for their first steps toward independence and being without adult supervision for short periods of time.

 Course content includes:

  • Street smarts and bike safety
  • People safety ("Tricky people" and Safe strangers)
  • Online and internet safety 
  • Snacking and kitchen safety
  • Home fire safety
  • Sibling rivalry
  • Preventing accidents 
  • Basic first aid skills 
  • How to handle emergencies and other situations

Students please bring:

  • Bagged lunch & snacks (nut free)
  • Water bottle
  • Pen or pencil

Saturday, June 13 from 9:00 AM - 3:00 PM @ Penhold Multiplex (2nd floor, Club Room) 

*Parents are required to attend from 2:30 - 3:00 PM.

Registration fee is $30/child. Payments can be made online via OptionPay, or at the Town Office. Participants must be at least 9 years of age.
