About Penhold Commons Community Area
The Penhold Commons Community Area is located south of the Penhold Regional Multiplex in Penhold and serves as one of the town’s main outdoor recreation hubs. The area provides a variety of amenities for residents and visitors to gather, play, and stay active.
With a mix of recreation amenities, open space, and scenic pathways, Penhold Commons provides a welcoming place for residents and visitors to gather, play, stay active, and connect with the community year-round.
Amenities available at Penhold Commons include:
Two ball diamonds (available to rent for games, practices, and tournaments)
Maintained soccer fields (available to rent for games, team practices, and tournaments)
Disc golf course for recreational players and families
Multi-Use All-Wheel Park (MAP) for skateboards, bikes, scooters, and other wheeled sports (non motorized)
Gazebo for gatherings and relaxing under shelter
Public Washrooms
Public wood-fired grills available for public use (users must bring their own wood and cooking accessories and are asked to clean up the area after use)
Walking paths that loop through the park and around the storm pond, connecting to Penhold’s broader trail system and linking residents with the rest of the community
Open green spaces for picnics, relaxing, or informal recreation
