Join our Team

Key Responsibilities:

The Operations Operator is responsible for the daily operation and maintenance of the Town’s infrastructure systems, including:

  • Level I Water Treatment System
  • Level II Water Distribution System
  • Level II Wastewater Collection System
  • Contracted operations of the South Red Deer Regional Wastewater System
  • Equipment Operation
  • Maintenance of roads, parks, and sidewalks

Hours of Work:

This position is based on a 40-hour work week, Monday through Friday, from 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. The successful candidate will participate in an after-hours on-call rotation and must be available to respond to emergency situations. Evening, weekend, and overtime hours may be required as operational needs dictate.
