Town of Penhold

In the spirit of respect, reciprocity and truth, we honour and acknowledge that we are privileged to live, work and play on Treaty 7 territory in Penhold. This territory is the ancestral and traditional territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy: Kainai, Piikani and Siksika as well as the Tsuut’ina and Stoney Nakoda nations and the Red Deer Métis District within the Battle River Territory. We acknowledge and show gratitude to the many First Nations, Métis and Inuit who have walked these lands before us, and those who continue to walk with us.
