Penhold Youth Club is one of the chosen Funded Projects under Red Deer & District Family and Community Support Services (FCSS). FCSS is a unique 80/20 funding partnership between the Government of Alberta and participating municipalities or Métis Settlements. The combined funding is used to support preventive social initiatives, projects, and services that enhance the social well-being of individuals, families, and/or the community.

The Penhold Youth Club (PYC) is a safe, healthy, supervised environment for youth to hang out and participate in fun, interactive and age appropriate activities. At PYC your voice is heard and you are provided guidance, resources and support needed to learn how to advocate for yourself and turn your ideas into reality.
PYC is open for youth grades 4 to 12 living in Penhold, Springbrook and surrounding area and is held primarily at the Penhold Regional Multiplex.
Starting September 2024 PYC will be changing group structures. We will be having the following groups at program.
- November PYC Calendar Grades 4-6
- November PYC Calendar Grades 7-8
- November Teen Night Grades 9-12
- October PYC Newsletter
Also check out Parent’s Night Out on November 29 & December 13, 3:00 - 7:00 pm! Choose either date or join us for both! Ages 6+ can enjoy a fun-filled evening while you take some well-deserved time for yourself — whether it’s Christmas shopping or just a break!
$25 per child per day. Proceeds from this event go to support the Penhold Youth Club.

There are no registration fees for enrolling in the Penhold Youth Club, however, registration is required.
Youth Mentors needed! Are you interested in being a part of the Leaders In Training (LiT) group? This group is a great opportunity for youth in grades 8-12 to get leadership experience, be a role model and mentor and have fun.
Upcoming LIT Training Dates: The next LIT Training will be held in the fall of 2025.
