More lights, more holiday magic and new opportunities for community involvement!
The magic of the Monarch Winter Village is returning to Penhold, and 2026 promises to be brighter than ever!
Monarch Earthworks is once again bringing a spectacular holiday display to the Penhold RV Park as a gift to the community. For 2026, the 2nd Annual Monarch Winter Village will feature an even longer tunnel of lights, more festive decorations and over 10 kilometres of twinkling lights to brighten the holiday season.
Come experience the lights, celebrate the season and enjoy a little holiday magic, Penhold style! The Monarch Winter Village will light up for the season on Friday, November 20, 2026, in conjunction with Penhold's Community Christmas celebration.
Located in the Penhold RV Park, the Monarch Winter Village offers a magical holiday experience for families and visitors to enjoy from the comfort of their vehicles, or along the pathways.
There is no admission fee to enjoy the Monarch Winter Village which is also supported by The Town of Penhold and Central Alberta Roofing and Siding.
