- Road or rail accidents
- Wind storms
- Snow storms
- Tornados
- Hail
Preparing for these emergencies will allow you to respond quickly to help yourself and others. Emergency crews will be responding to those in the most need, and it may take some time for them to reach you.
The Town of Penhold is proud to be part of the Red Deer Regional Emergency Management Partnership (RDREMP). This partnership includes the County of Red Deer, City of Red Deer, Town of Sylvan Lake, Town of Innisfail, Town of Penhold, Town of Bowden, Village of Elnora, Village of Delburne. We are better able to respond with all of our municipalities working together to mitigate emergencies as they arise.

Penhold businesses can activate a LOCAL business listing with NO ANNUAL FEES on the platform to help the Red Deer Regional Partnership maintain an updated version of our Emergency Logistics Vendor List. Membership is not mandatory, and is not required to remain a vendor in the Red Deer Regional Emergency Plan, but it is strongly encouraged as a way of consolidating as many resources as possible into one virtual platform.
