EFFECTIVE 9:45 P.M. THURSDAY DECEMBER 11, 2025.
The Town of Penhold has issued a Boil Water Advisory for residents and businesses south of Minto Street. All areas in blue on the map below are impacted. During routine testing of the water supply, low chlorine levels were found. Water samples have been taken and are being processed by the provincial laboratory. A boil water advisory has been issued as a precaution.
The precautionary Boil Water Advisory will remain in effect until water quality testing confirms there is no contamination.
Until further notice, all residents and businesses located in the blue area of the map are advised to bring your water to a rolling boil for at least one minute prior to using it for domestic purposes, including but not limited to, drinking, making infant formula and juices, brushing teeth, washing raw foods and making ice. This advisory is being issued as a precautionary measure until further notice. Updates will continue to be provided on the Town’s Facebook page and website.
