Compliance Certificates

A fee of $50 must be paid prior to issuance of any compliance certificates.

A request for a certificate of compliance must be accompanied with a Real Property Report (RPR).  If the RPR is older than two years from the certificate date, a statutory declaration is required.

A compliance certificate is a document signed by the Town certifying that a development (e.g., house, garage, shed, fence, etc.) complies with Land Use Bylaw.  Compliance certificates are generally required for the sale of your property.  Contact the Development Officer at the Town of Penhold @ (403) 886-4567 for further information.
